This concession is on a pristine stretch where the Savanna and Nama-Karoo biomes meet, the habitat rhinos would have roamed for millennia.  The stretch of arid to semi-arid desert and bushveld terrain consist of brush covered hills with valleys in between, and flat grass covered areas decorated with a large number of Rockwood trees (wild olive). Ideal for walk and stalk with good visibility for successful hunting

RHINO CONSERVATION

EXPERIENCE RHINOS LIKE N0WHERE ELSE- For millions of years, rhinos have supported other lifeforms in their ecosystem. Now they are disappearing. Currently, rhino deaths outnumber births – all for a belief that their horns have medicinal properties and convey status.

Our ultimate goal is to see rhinos walk free again. Until then, we are committed to protecting and repopulating the species, in a controlled environment, to prevent white rhino extinction.

EASTERN CAPE

The Malaria-free Eastern Cape offers the finest hunting in the country with over forty different species available to hunt. The hunting areas are vast with tremendous variety of species available to the serious hunter.

We exclusively hunt on a wide range of terrain that spans vast semi-arid desert, dense coastal bush, mountains and open savannah. We have access to over 3 million acres of privately owned land and game reserves, including over 700,000 acres of free range areas, bearing forth the high standard in trophy quality.

With over forty different species available to our hunters, and many occurring in a variety of habitats, we have found the need to establish camps within selected areas. This often allows our hunters to enjoy more than one area on the same safari, while ensuring we achieve the very best in trophy quality.

Our camps vary from comfortable safari-style homes to small and personal rustic camps in the north, with luxurious lodging on our family owned exclusive Game Reserve in the south. You can look forward to being spoiled, the African way, and enjoy some of the best local cooking South Africa has to offer. Typical South African dishes are served with outstanding locally produced wines. This area consists of a wide variety of habitats, varying from coastal brush and valleys to the Winterberg Mountain range 7000 ft. up in some places.

Species typical to the region are Blue Duiker, Grysbuck, Bushpig, Caracal, Oribi, Mountain Reedbuck, Vaal Rhebuck, Cape Bushbuck, and Eastern Cape Kudu, White Springbuck, Black Springbuck, Common Springbuck, White Blesbuck, Nyala, Hartebeest, Red Lechwe amongst many others.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

In the central northern part of the Limpopo Province of South Africa on a pristine privately owned nature reserve, we offer 10 000 ha of typical African bush veld which varies from open country to very dense bush. Creeks and gullies open into marsh areas which makes hunting a unique and real African experience. The diversity of the terrain supports a large variety of birds and mammals. Animals like Elephant, White Rhino, Nyala, Zebra, Hippo and the rare Black Rhino are just some of the wildlife you can encounter.

Bird Shooting

Bird Shooting Safaris are conducted from April through September, in the Freestate, Eastern Cape and Limpopo for species like Waterfowl, Dove, Pigeon, Guinea Fowl, and Francolin. These are also tailor made safaris and take place over 3 – 5 days although one can add a few days wing shooting to your safari if necessary.

Bow Hunting

Bow Hunting Safaris are undertaken throughout the year but we recommend the dry months (June-September). Hunting is done from established blinds around waterholes and also the old walk and stalk method.

South Africa’s electricity supply is 220V AC 50Hz. Appliances of lesser voltage require transformers and adaptors.

South Africa has a modern and sophisticated hospital network should the need arise.  Inoculations are not required for South Africa however if a hunter is to hunt in the Limpopo Province, Zululand, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique we recommend malaria prophylactics be taken.
